Ways to Divide a Room, part II

Well here I am again with room dividing options.

I would've installed one already but my walls

are concrete and I need a drill. And to be decisive about if it

should hang from the ceiling or partially dropped etc etc 

And how sheer it should be...?

Don't think I could tolerate beaded.

Or no curtain, just a shelf?

and every option was either too garish or patterned plastic that

I know will have permanent creases in it and fall stiffly, 

not to mention get coated in soap scum.
