New Paramore vs. Memphis 80s design

Paramore's new aesthetic is intensely reminiscent of 

the Milanese design group Memphis 

who were furniture, textile and ceramic designers in the 1980s.

Their furniture was composed of elementary shapes (cones, spheres, pyramids, cubes)

and coated in bright plastic laminates in primary colours (red, blue, yellow).
