Selecting Runway Outfits for my "Fashion Tarot Reading" video

 

In January 2026 I launched my Tarot / metaphysical YouTube channel called @Rosereddchannel

My favourite video to film so far was what I call "Work of Art Tarot" which has the viewer select a work of art out of 4 that I show onscreen, and receive tarot guidance associated with that art piece.

Last night I was realizing that it is a no brainer to replicate this reading with my first love: Fashion.

Concept: Show the viewer 4 runway outfits and receive an associated tarot reading.

So here I am selecting the outfits for the upcoming video. Join me.

To do this I was perusing my old blog posts here & found one dedicated to how much I adored A.F. Vandevorst's Spring 2018 collection. So I thought I'd revisit it in this video! Wheee!

Some options from this AMAZING collection are below.

The whole thing is quite Margiela + Viviene Westwood + Gaultier, no?

Outlaw / Outcast, Hero, Villain, Guardian / Nurse / Mother, Artist, Child

Vetements - Fall 2015

VETEMENTS launched in 2014 as a Swiss-French fashion house founded by Georgian fashion designers and brothers Demna and Guram Gvasalia. The brand experienced quick success, with Demna being hired to Balenciaga after only 3 collections. Since 2025, Demna is the creative director of Gucci. Prior to Gucci, for a decade he was creative director of Balenciaga.

To me she looks like a Hero / Rebel combo, & I want one of these in each of my Fashion Tarot videos!

So we've got Nurse + Artist + Mime / Trickster & Hero / Rebel archetypes covered.

An ah-mazing designer. Glad I thought to include his work in the video.

*In March 2024, Van Noten announced his retirement from his namesake label after 38 years. 

His final collection was Menswear Spring/Summer 2025*

To me this looks suits the Goddess / Mother archtype.

So we've got Nurse + Artist + Mime / Trickster & Hero / Rebel + Goddess / Mother archetypes.

And I'll be using it as the Wise Woman / Sage archetype because she's a touch elven / spritely.
